The object of this exercise is to sing a tuneful melody. It is a simple triadic tune outlining tonic and dominant. Sing it in a pleasant, expressive manner, stressing the production of easy natural tone. Move up and down by half-steps, but stay within a comfortable range. I suggested some texts, but feel free to make up your own to fit the day or season.
